Weighing Control System
The on-board weighing control system built in ISW and USW compactors lifts and hook jib trucks (for selective waste collection on igloo container bins) has the following parts:
• weighing cells system for weighing those loads,
• correctness system depending ont he truck position according to orography.
This system is made up of weighing cells on lifts by which we know gross weight of container bin shen lifting it. When container bin is dumped into waste compactor and it is lowered, it si weighed again obtaining then its tare. These two actions are automatically done and in motion and we finally obtain net weight of waste unloaded on waste compactor.
Dynamic weighing control system contributes to speed the container bins collection process and then to have a total productivity of the collection system, no matter the type of lift:
• Rear load with one or more lifts
• Side load
• Both sides load
• Industrial collection trucks with DIN elevator or with arms with chains
• Truck jib for selective collection on igloos and paper container bins
Mechanics for cells system is adapted for each of the lifts trademarks, then modifications are different for each of them. In order to fit it on the best and safest way, we do materials resistance calculations as well as testing the final mechanic model on a finite elements calculation program. Thus we achieve to have the best application for every case avoiding any important transformation on lift.
For weighing correction respect terrain level, the system has an electronic protected on metallic casing, and an internal microchip specially designed by Distromel S.A. which detects, calculates and corrects lift deviation due to any slope of the land on each position of the lift.
Thus we make sure that lift always repeats the same manoeuvres during the weighing process and then conversion, quantification and codification of data weighing cells will always be the same.
As a result of this technology our system offers some unusual tolerances in this type of devices and thus we provide a very accurate precision.
